Orthotics are custom-made inserts that fit inside the shoe. They are specially designed to decrease abnormal motion of the foot while allowing for normal movement. Orthotics realign your feet to a more usual or “neutral” position, restore balance, improve sports performance and serve to eliminate or reduce foot, back and leg pain by improving function and efficiency. Orthotics can increase stability and motion control, offer extreme shock absorption, and correct biomechanical imbalances due to leg length discrepancies, uneven hips, or tight musculature.

Orthotics are also useful for biomechanical conditions such as overpronation, oversupination, as well as musculoskeletal conditions such as plantar fasciitis, achillies tendon problems, chronic ankle sprains, and metatarsalgia.

Many different types of orthotics can be manufactured depending on which shoe you would like support for. Orthotics can be made for a variety of shoe wear including running, cross trainers, dress, golf, casual, work boots, skates, skis, and sandals. Custom made shoes, boots and sandals can also be ordered in top brands such as Birkenstock, Saucony, Sketchers, Lacoste, Florsheim, and Merrell.
